3D Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are creating a high quality, Far Infrared Heating Pad, that will be made from Jade stones, it will look much like this

We need a new design for the control box. The client has given us input how they would like it and we need someone to come up with a design and once approved by client, with the 3D graphic file needed for the Chinese to make the mold. We are under pressed for time.

I am attaching the old design and two competitors' designs that the client found appealing. The control needs these features:
1) an LCD or LED screen
2) an ON/OFF button
3) buttons to set the temperature -heat and +heat and
4) buttons to set the timer -time and + time

The exact dimensions of the control box will depend on the design as the parts such as the transformer need to be fitted. The process will be:
1) rough design suggestions
2) client giving feedback what he likes
3) working out a more definite design
4) maybe some minor changes from manufacturer feedback based on the parts that need to fit the control box
5) generate the 3D file for the box.

The client would prefer if the cable went in on one end and came out on the other.

The dimensions of the control due to its contents will need to be about 8*2*2 or 6*3*2 inches (clients leans towards a longer but narrower design rather than shorter and wider) but again the exact dimensions can only be determined once we have a design.
