Hello -  Yes, I do like your concept.  I like the way that the 2 squares indicate "back".  The main negative is that it takes up too much room vertically (for newspaper advertising and such).  Is there a way of incorporating the red and black squares in a more horizontal way with the print?  And the font you picked for "the Back Room" is very attractive, but perhaps a little too delicate.  (The font for the tag line is perfect.) I''ve seen fonts that mix delicate lines with thicker ones  -  does something like that make sense?  Lastly, the spiral doesn''t really speak to me, but it made me think that maybe some maybe very subtle, ghostly image of piano keys or guitar could be embedded in the back (black) square.  That could be too corny, of course, but I could imagine it working.  Maybe, if the back square contained such an image, it might need to be a little larger, and  the front square (sans the spiral) could be slightly smaller.  I don''t know,  these are just thoughts... Hello Again -    Your original design with the 2 squares is still the best one I''ve gotten.  The other one, which you made more horizontal with the doorway illustration is good too, but I like the 2 squares better.  And, by the way, once I got used to it, I like the less bold font after all.  Can you play with putting those squares in a horizontal frame like you did with the doorway?
