Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We Move Pictures is a blog which covers technology through the lense of Video Professionals. Beyond reporting on the tools and workflows in our lives, we obsess over the industries which will influence the future of moving pictures like 3D Printing, Connectivity, Content Licensing, Patents, Social Media, and the Monetization of the Web.

While the focus is on technology, we also highlight the artists who are using it to advance the language of cinema, storytelling, and design in all its forms.

We are open to integrating some visual representation of moving images, but we want to steer clear of 35mm Film, as it’s a bit of an antiquated reference. We are open to analogies that are evocative of persistence of vision, moving pictures, video color science, or editing together frames to make a new meaning.

In general we are drawn to clean, future, and friendly designs reminiscent of the elements which make up Vimeo.com’s website. You can check out the beta version of our site at wemovepictures.com. The color of the menus will be changed to work with the logo, so please do not feel influenced by the default orange color.
