Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for an aquarium store in Oregon. I want something that can be used on the web site and print media, business cards, etc. so nothing 3D. The store is a cross between an aquarium shop and a public aquarium with a strong focus on educating people about the proper care of their aquatic environments.

Since it is about aquariums, I prefer blues but am open to ideas. I want something that will look good on paper or on a banner above the store. Easily readable and conveys what the business is about.

The business was originally known as PDX Fish Guys. I have included an image of the old logo. While it was a fun logo, I feel the new one should have more of a horizontal feel, not vertical like the old logo with the fish above the text.

We have found that we cater to two different markets. Freshwater aquariums tend to be with lower to middle income families & individuals where Saltwater tends to bring in more middle to higher income families.
