Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a new laundromat business, hopefully the first of many locations. It is called Brightway Laundry and is located a block away from the beach/ocean in the BRIGHTon Beach section of brooklyn near Ocean ParkWAY (hence the name). I want to appeal to both individual consumers and also commercial customers (ie. hotels, gyms). I would like to use bright, clean, crisp colors. I am trying to think of a good tag line to use along with the name – something like “Clean the rightway with Brightway”.
I am open to ideas/suggestions but I also had some various thoughts as follows:
1. Perhaps create a character that customers can identify as "the Brightway Guy" (ala Mr Clean/Brawny type), as we provide pickup/delivery service. Can be vintage or modern.
2. Ocean/water feeling.
3. Spa like feeling.
4. Modern and funky.
