Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

"GamMa" is a Danish alumni organization for mathematicians that have graduated from University of Copenhagen. We are very informal and see it as our most important task to maintain the strong social relations that math students develop during their studies. We organize parties, camp trips, company excursions, informal lectures and career advice events for students.

Math graduates like to be nerdy, drink beer and do weird stuff. They cherish precise argumentation, and if confronted with bullshit they will shoot it down instantly. They prefer informal honest environments and generally dislike things that are too "corporate" such as suits og buzzword talk.

It is important for os that our math graduates can identify with the logo design and that it communicates the values shared by mathematicians. It must be usable on at least a white background.

Above all the logo must be informal and warm, while still very rigorous and elegant. Representing the informality of mathematicians and the rigor and elegance in math.
