New 3D (Vector) Logo/Mascot Design
Add your question or comments below
Hi,few questions: would you like the bee to be the same, simplistic style smooth or slightly more advanced with hair, legs (for holding case etc (as in Bee movie). Also could you guarantee project? more inclined to go hardcore with possibility of being paid. Thanks
I agree on that this project should be guaranteed. Modelling and rendering takes time.
Hello,
Are you looking for a logo in a vector format with a visual that looks a bit as 3d, or are you looking for a complete 3d model of your bee mascot rendered?
Most of times logos are vector format, so it can be upscale without any loss, but it imply a lower level of realism.
On the opposite 3d models rendered could be more detailled and realistic, but cannot be upscale without loss.
Please could you clarify your needs?
regards,
Hello. The same, simplistic style would be detailed enough for now. For the future we might decide to develop a 3D full detail model with hair etc. Your point on the legs is a valid one. I do understand your point on he guaranteed project and agree up to a certain level with your view on this. For sue we need this logo/mascot for our website due to go live in a couple weeks. Our challenge on guaranteeing the project is that we haven't seen a draft design (or similar design in the designers portfolio) that gives us confidence that a suitable design will become available. Once we see more drafts or comparable designs from designers portfolio we will not hesitate to guarantee the project.
You are right. The mascot/logo should look a bit 3D. Full detailed 3D logo/mascot (hairs etc.) is not required. We simply want to be able to portrait the mascot in different ways as described in the briefing. The vector format should do ..
@ planchetdartagnan. Your entitled to agree with any comment you want but I think it's a bold statement to make for a designer without any reference, rating or portfolio.
Hi, planchetdartagnan was agreeing with guarantee element because so many of us have worked on projects, with project owners happy enough with work submitted, then ask for refund when project finished. Not personal against you. Ill send in a watermarked design, if you think it shows the job can be done, then could you guarantee project. Also alot of designers wont touch projects that are not guaranteed as they've been burnt so many times. Thanks for your understanding. C
Give me a nice feedback that something like this thought. If so, even converting some things. Thank you very much. Linduska
Perhaps consider listing/tagging the project under illustration or graphic design categories, as these might get more responses along the lines you are looking for. Other users are correct in commenting that a true rendered logo is time-intensive, etc.
Best of luck!
How does he carry a suitcase without arms?
