The bottle design is the most important

And further clarification you can use the same label for the gin rum vodka and moonshine. And you can use the existing bottles for inspiration or go completely out of the way.

Hi, Perhaps you could clarify as I doubt I'm the only designer that may well be reading this project wrong.

It would seam as if you are offering just $150 for 5 different product label designs for 5 different drinks, that you want a designer to also create unique logos for as well as conceptualising the brand name for each in the first place. And all that for just $30 per label. Of which Design Crowd obviously take 15% so actually $25.50 for each name, logo and accompanying label.

If that is correct, and you are looking for a professional designer, then I would advise that you seriously need to revise what these labels are worth to your business. As I can assure you $25 a label doesn't come anywhere need close to covering the time it takes to conceptual a marketable name, let alone design a marketable word mark logo and then store ready label for it, nor obviously in anyway reflect the value that professional design holds to the success of your brand and it's affect on the sales of the product.

Speaking a long time professional with direct experience designing for the adult drinks market I'm just trying to offer you some advice, so feel free to ignore me at your will, but I would advise you need to make your pricing a lot more realistic to reflect the time and skill required for the job. Or perhaps consider switching this project to a direct freelance project on this website, where designers can then quote you for the project, that way you would work directly with a professional designer to achieve you goal.

I just need the one bottle design. The guy that posted this was supposed to say that the winning designer will be hired to do other bottles, logo, packaging, press release and website. $270 for one bottle and which you can choose

Thanks for the clarification, although the prize you have listed here is only $150 for the winner. $270 will assumedly be the package price you have paid Design Crowd, therefore only $150 shows up as the prize, 15% of that $150 will also be taken by Design Crowd, so the financial reward for the designer is unfortunately just the remaining $127. Thanks for clarifying the requirement though.

I think the problem you might find is that although contest holders on this site typically price projects far below the commercial value, there is still competition between project holders to offer enough of a reward compared to the other contests, so as to tempt professionals to gamble their time for potential reward.

So for example right now there is a contest for a vodka brand that have an agreed name to use, and just require a label design, for which they detail the required size and info to include, and for that they are offering $525. So I'm sure you can appreciate the appeal for designers to be drawn in different directions.

Sorry one more thing for clarification, will you be increasing the payment for the winning designer to $270 before the submissions close?

If the design or designs merit then yes but that's why we did not want quotes. We want to see multiple designs to choose from
