Hi, I have experience developing sites for both recruitment and safety related businesses in Australia, incorporating ecommerce functionality. I have reviewed your existing site and I feel given its unresponsive nature it would benefit your business to consider a whole of web redisgn, including social media, job portal platforms and the new red alert site. Is this something your company is considering?

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for your message. I totally appreciate and understand where you coming from, however, I am at Designcrowd because I worked with 2 small tech companies before (actually both in Brisbane) and ended up where I am now, in a mess, without a website, without support and after spending considerable sums of money. I have used designcrowd now on a number of occasions and each time, the results have been better than what I have received through company appointments, and at a fraction of the cost. I am not saying no as everything you have posted is relevant, but I am down this path for a reason. Are you planning on submitted a design? And yes, this will be "whole of site design" project to the successful person as well as implementation and support.

Hi MH,

I will consider favorably, those who post a home page and one layer of depth. The theme will need to remain the same (this may be header / footer) whatever you choose throughout the website so doing 2 pages is not a big deal really. A good example would be to do a home page then a page about a product category itself so I have a good idea of what the designer is thinking for one layer deep.

I hope this helps.

Hi Adrian,

Do you plan to submit a design? I was not meaning to be brusque before. By all means, feel free to work on the project. You never know what will transpire. I have gone down this path now and will pay the money to the successful designer and hope to work with them for whole of site design and implementation.... (proof reading and editing will be outsourced). Design and content (inc. file upload) will be the main focus of the freelance work.

Regards
Bruce

Hi Bruce, yes and sorry for the slow reply. I will submit a design asap, I just have a couple of paid jobs to get through (will probably be on the weekend). With regards to the coding, can you let me know which e-commerce platform you are wanting to integrate with?
Regards
Adrian

Hi Adrian,

No rush, project doesn''t close till the 4th... I have no plans / thoughts about the ecommerce side of things yet, getting the page designed and loaded with content is my priority. Online sales will come later as we are mostly niche, not retail. I will be later integrating this site into ours www.go2signals.com.au which has a platform. I am not sure if you can work out what it is by just looking at it though. PS: I find that site boring and it doesn''t engage me at all.

Hi All,

Apologise for the same message posting 3 times. It posted automatically each time chrome crashed and I did a reload without closing chrome. Designcrowd and chrome can be very clunky at times. Good concept but sometimes I feel designcrowd are still in the 90''s.
