Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

MY BUSINESS

I'm looking for a logo for a freelance service that I provide for a number of small to medium sized businesses. I provide support in four areas: administration, research, marketing and creative. More information can be found at my website - dmacgregor.co.uk (redirects to yourpersonalassistant.co.uk). Please note that I am no longer marketing my services as a virtual personal assistant (which the current domain refers to); this was a previous incarnation of the business. Now, I am marketing my services as myself, a freelancer providing reliable and versatile support for businesses. My freelance business name is now DMACGREGOR.

I would like to distinguish myself from virtual personal assistants since that's not what I do, so that's why I'm looking for something that doesn't relate to admin, research, creative or marketing but something that relates to me, since that's what I am promoting.

I am open minded as something completely different may guide the redesign of my site in the next 6 months.

Anforderungen

Muss haben

• Strong pictorial logo with text of business name - DMACGREGOR (upper- or lower-case)
• I am a primatologist (i.e. I study monkeys and apes) and I'd like to convey that through the use of a simple silhouetted/basic shaped/geometric Olive Baboon image as that is what I studied, i.e. not mandrill, hamadryas. Has to be recognisable as an Olive Baboon.
• Simple and original and versatile (e.g. horizontal/vertical; coloured/monochrome)
• Perhaps basic/geometric shapes.
• Monochrome or two colours - three maximum. I like the blue and white contrast that I currently use on my site.
• Strong typography

Schön zu haben

• Basic or Geometric shapes
• Simple and bold logo and text
• Text below the pictorial aspect of logo. Also versatile enough to have it placed to the right of the pictorial aspect.

Sollte nicht haben

• More than three colours
• Too many details
• Be related directly to the services I provide (research, marketing, admin or creative)
