Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a new ecommerce website that sells South African hand crafted artisanal goods (i.e. hand crafted ceramics). We need a logo for our company called Wave2Africa. We are targeting upmarket customers – the logo accordingly should have an upmarket, sophisticated feel.

The logo should consist of 2 parts i.e. icon and text (main & tagline), which should work as a whole or split up for various applications. We picture the text next to the icon, for a horizontal layout, but are open to other suggestions. We do not want the icon to be “cliché” traditional African.

We are looking for a logo that is simple, easily recognised and memorable – a clear bold icon that remains in the mind’s eye. The logo should be able to work in a variety of media and applications and in different sizes (i.e. website, business cards, phone apps, etc).

In a nutshell we want to convey:
