Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for a new home builder in the Phoenix, Arizona area. We build 8 to 12 homes per 5 acre unit we call a village. Our company, her homes and villages are built upon four fundamental principles or pillars that include Quality, Service, Earth and Spirit.

Quality includes both the use of quality materials along with high quality workmanship.

Our service philosophy is based upon the creation of trust relationships with both our external and internal customers.

We believe it is the third and fourth pillars of our company that sets us apart from our competitors.

The third, or Earth pillar, is concerned with the fact that we look upon our planet as sacred. We call her Gaia. This attitude guides us in how we use land and how we construct our homes. We are interested in more than just building energy efficient homes. We use recycled/renewable materials whenever possible. We also incorporate green processes such as the recycling of construction materials. Ultimately, it is our goal to build green homes that accentuate and honor the land. Therefore, we consider natural waterways, prevalent wind direction and sun rise/sun set directionality in our designs to further optimize the functionality of the homes that we build.

Our fourth pillar considers both the human and divine spirit. Building what are known as front porch communities fosters the connection with human spirit. The social center of our homes face each other promoting residents connection with their neighbors. Furthermore, these villages will be built with themed communal or common areas designed for residents that share a common interest. These themes might include gardens, art, alternative medicinal interests or common spiritual philosophies to name a few. Ultimately, we are building homes that foster the residents connection to each other within the community.

Connection with Devine spirit is fostered by incorporation of known modalities such as Feng Shui along with the spiritual needs and philosophies of our residents during the design processes.

We believe that it is these earth and spiritual aspects of our company that really separates us from our competitors. We believe that these missing elements, connection of people with each other and with the Divine, in our current homes and communities has help lead to many of the negative attributes we hear about in our modern day living. Fostering this connection to community is the number one ultimate objective of our design processes, our homes and the villages we build.

• I have included a copy of a logo a young friend of mine came up with. It includes a mountain and a saguaro cactus within a sun. I amI kind of like it. Another item that I feel might be utilized is a Native American Dream Catcher. We would like to stick to earth colors: however, the 7 chakra colors might be interesting for any spiritual components of the logo. Neither of these ideas are required they are just ideas for consideration.
