T-Shirt-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are an ATV racing team in need of a logo. It doesn't have to be off the charts fancy, just be clever and creative. The name of the team is "Slightly Bent Racing". Cross Country (XC) ATV racing, or "woods" racing is comprised of 200-300 atv's all participating in a high speed, 2 hour long, endurance race through all different types of terrain. The team name was easy to come up with since the end of each race usually results in the atv having one or more parts that are slightly bent. Since we are all considered racers, not artists, our first thought was the obvious.......incorporate a bent part into the logo (i.e. Using a bent rear axle as the top of the letter "T" in "BENT". To gain a better understanding of the type of racing this is, you can visit www.gnccracing.com The atv's are primarily 2008 Yamaha YFZ450's An abundance of pictures of these can be found with a simple internet search. The team is obviously working with a limited budget. That being said, this could be an opportunity for a designer to have a little fun and be creative with a team logo without the pressures of a corporate environment. We are very open-minded and are ready to provide any pictures or websites that could assist in the process. The logo will be used on t-shirts, hats, and stickers of all different sizes. Thank you! **Update 1-21-13 I have uploaded a few examples of the type of logo we are looking for. They portray the name of the team into the artwork (ie, the vulture in the Roadkill logo, the clinching hand in the Stronghold logo, etc.) Again, these are just examples to help point you in the right direction. **

Muss haben

• Simple yet bold. Be creative. Non-typical. This is an extremely tough sport, however it is family friendly so keep it clean.

Schön zu haben

• It should show the intensity of a cross country race.

Sollte nicht haben

• We have never been fans of over the top graphics that you find on your typical race event t-shirts. The photo files that are included with this brief are just to give an idea of what xc racing is like. We definitely do not want any pictures included in the design. Originality is key here. The use of the "checkered flag" in a racing logo has been a bit overdone.
