Muss haben
- Something bold, not too intricate but then again not like YODEL's logo for example. Having a symbol would be good but not an instrument as this symbol. Using an instrument could limit the marketability of the logo (a drum stick for example would not apply to West African Drumming). The symbol needs to link with creativity... embody the process of sharing knowledge.
Schön zu haben
- colour
Sollte nicht haben
- No musical notation, most of what the company deals with is an oral tradition - not reading from music - so using notation could alienate our target market. Colours - nothing garish for example anything fluorescent is a no go... Pink is also off the table.
