Grafik-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I am looking for someone to design a patch for Vance Air Force Base's current pilot training class, 16-01. This patch will be worn by all members of the class on our flightsuits, given out to various businesses/restaurants/bars etc around Oklahoma and will be displayed in various locations for years to come - needless to say, it's important that we get it right. We need/want several things in the patch:

-it can be any shape, but has to look good on a 4"x4" shoulder velcro backing, meaning it can't have any excessively small details

-we want the main feature to be a banana with a mustache, holding a pilot's helmet under one arm and a rose in the other (if you google "Dave and Busters stuffed banana mustache" you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about). If you put the banana in a flightsuit, bonus points!

-in the background, I had envisioned airplanes (needs to include the T-38 Talon, T-6 Texan II and T-1 Jayhawk) flying out from the center toward the edges

-Somewhere (possibly around the edge) we'd like "Vance 16-01" and "Peelin' Good"

-the point is to have fun with it! If you want to win, design something that looks really cool (we're all guys age 22-26) and gets a laugh at the same time. My best advice would be to search for other well-done military patches online to get a feel for what we're looking for. Another great reference would be to just google "Vance class patch" and browse other patches that have been put out.

-remember, we will be flying the T-6, T-38 and T-1 as student pilots, and if you choose to display a plane, it would most likely be best to show all of them somewhere in the patch.

-last thing, it needs to be family friendly and appropriate. Keep it tasteful!
