Thank you all very much for your designs. I have received 42 designs in total. Some of those are variations of a particular design so I have probably received at least 25 different designs. It has been overwhelming to be honest. There are about 5 designs that on first glance really caught my eye. There are about another 5 designs that l like but didn't grab me straight away. It is very difficult to choose and I am very sincere when I say that. This online process got me thinking about what do the people who are unsuccessful get for their efforts? I guess nothing. So whilst I have got about 25 designs, those of you who will be unsuccessful will most likely get nothing. Upon reflection, I probably would not choose this method again because it doesn't rest comfortably with me that people who have contributed get nothing. I would imagine that if I was a graphic designer I would want to be paid for my time even if my customer didn't like my design. Maybe you are all compensated by the amount of work that can be generated by this way of sourcing business. You know that for every job you are successful there are a certain number you wont be successful in. This must be the case or you all wouldn't bother submitting designs knowing you may not be paid.

I think it has been great for me as I have a lot of choice and I am more likely to get something I am happy with. As a service to a customer it is a very good service. 

I am going to have to be brutal in making a decision but in doing so I want you to all know I am very grateful for your designs and the effort you all went to. Choosing a design is a very subjective thing and I can see there are a lot of you who if unsuccessful are obviously very good designers in my opinion. You shouldn't be discouraged by me if you are unsuccessful. 

I will be away for 3 days and wont be in a position to decide until I get back next Tuesday. I will also need a day or 2 to confer and decide with colleagues, friends and family. I will make a decision as soon as practical after I get back. Have a great weekend
