Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo design for a whisky distribution company in Melbourne Australia.
The name Nippy Sweetie comes from Scottish terminology for a shot of whisky. Billy Connolly freely uses this in his standup comedy shows by describing it as "a wee nippy sweetie".
The company offers two services at the moment. Online purchasing and whisky tasting nights.
At the moment the company is promoted on Facebook and via Meet Up, with plans for the website in the pipeline.
In the future I would also like to open a retail store, the logo would be utilised across all of these outlets [as well as on future promotional materials].
The design needs to include the company name [Nippy Sweetie], and an image that is related to whisky [ie barrels, glasses, barley, scottish tradition etc]. Ideally the logo will use earthy colours [ie. those reflected in the colour of whisky]. The message we would like to convey is that the company is one of distinction, is knowledgable and provides high quality service.
