Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I’m hosting a scuba diving trip on a charter boat for a small number of my key investment banking clients. I want to create some atmosphere prior to the event, and make the event memorable.

I’d like to create a crest, coat of arms or logo to use on invitations / emails / printed t-shirts / beer labels / etc. I’d like it to be quite regal, to the point of almost being over done. We're a small company, hosting a small event, but willing to laugh at ourselves (as evidenced by the name we’re adopting for the event).

I'd like the design to contain the following elements:
• Text to include: “West Coast Capital Invitational Regatta 2013”. Preferably somewhere that’s fairly visible and stands out, with the "2013" on a line of its own.
• Colours to be fairly simple – black background and white images, and able to be inverted black on white. Some grey-scale if that helps.
• Graphics to be 2-dimensional
• A scuba diving mask as the key central image, include some fishing rods? Maybe a couple of crayfish either side of the crest?
• Key words: scuba diving, crayfish, fishing, boats, pirates, nautical
