Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Task Description:
We need a logo design for a new craft brewing company/brewpub named Square Nail Brewing Company.

This logo needs to be versatile enough that it can be used on labels, signs, uniforms, etc. Please see http://upslopebrewing.com/ for an example.


Location:
Kenosha, Wisconsin. Kenosha is a dichotomy of cultures and ideas. It is a small blue collar town located in an agrarian state in the U.S. Midwest. The people embrace an old town mentality that is always focused on moving forward. In its heyday, Kenosha was known for its automobile industry and today is known for Amazon, Meijer, Snap-On Tools.


Background:
Our brewpub will be located on the site that was originally home to the first Brewpub in the Midwest. Our building is an old barn located in the middle of a commercial office park. It was originally built by Friars in the early 1900’s using handmade Square Nails hence the name and desire to reward Do-It-Yourself people (DIYers).


Mission:
To provide beer worthy of craftsmen and those that like to create.

We want to reward hard working people that embrace the do it yourself mentality, whether they are artists, painters, computer programmers, or just like to build things.


Theme:
We would like our logo to incorporate square nails. Logo and font theme keywords may include, but are not limited to:
Rustic, traditional, honest, hand skills, hard-working, happy, sense of pride, sense of accomplishment, labor, worn, wood grain, up-at-dawn, seize the day, bold, artisan, barn door, simple.


Color:
We would prefer only 2 to 3 colors be used with a neutral or linen-like background in the logo but are open-minded if the logo is great....We are open to any type of text. We would like the logo to be versatile but still contain detail.
