Hi, I really like your project, very interesting and cute ! Just thinking that could you please consider about your budget for 10 original stamp designs, is it $140 for 10 stamps?
I like your project and will try. Hope that you like my designs.
Best regards.
Ha Pham designer.

This project sounds very interesting but I fear that the budget for this is below what I might expect for the quantity of artwork expected in return. For me personally, I would appreciate if the project budget was revised before I commit to creating artwork that could take 2-3 to produce. Alternatively, you could revise the quantity from 10 designs to 5, as you should be able to get a feel for whether the site is able to produce the 'quality' of designs you require and perhaps commission the winning artist for future work?

Kindest regards,

Dave

Thanks for your messages, I think you are right. More important is quality than quantity. We can change  the contest to 5 with an option to submit more if you''d like to round out a set.

We changed the number of stamps from 10 to 5. I do want to bring it to your attention however that some of the stamps might not be as intricate as others. For instance, if you aim to do a stamp set with say the theme of "Forrest Critters Happy Birthday" (i know, that''s why we are reaching out to you creative folks :)
In that theme you may have 2 or 3 critters, one tree and a few sentiments such as "Happy Birthday", or "Congratulations!". You may have the numbers 0 through 9 and the letters "st", "nd", "rd", and "th" so that someone can create the message "Happy 10th Birthday". That would be 19 stamps in the set.

Not saying that we are looking for 19 set stamps or that individual stamps that are totally unrelated to each other won''t win, just don''t want to discourage you from using this approach.

Thanks for considering this project! I hope its a fun one and a bit of a diversion from corporate branding and the like.

This looks really fun!

Curious though, why .psd and not .eps? .eps vector images will give you infinite scalabilty, so there are no resolution hassles or anything - and you can open them into photoshop and save as any size/resolution you need and get the best render for each size you want to use!

PS scrapbookingblogs link is down but there are lots of examples (good bad and terrible) at http://suzyqscraps.com and http://squigglefly.com

Cheers and good luck! I'm going to go draw some dinosaurs.

Thanks Code Rad Design, .eps vector images would work, probably better than .psd as you say.
