Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new company called PePPR Activity Management. We develop a new type of software for businesses to manage their performance, processes, project portfolio and risks (PePPR). We do this by integrating the tracking of activities that promote visibility (performance and risk metrics) with those that promote execution (process and project metrics). This product will remove the need for overlapping software many companies already have. It will be accessible through an internet browser only (known otherwise as "cloud" software). One of our innovations is that users will be able to enter their data much more quickly then they would with other software (Speed). We would like to communicate innovative technology and speedy execution, with a touch of corporate conservatism. Please see attached files to see our stab at an icon and an example from "Redmond.com." We like the "gel" appearance of their icon, but are open to any creative ideas. We also like the play on PePPR by using a burnt, chipotle color such as a maroon (maintains a conservative/corporate feel) - but, again, we're open to creative ideas here, as well.

Our early demographic are the staff and lower management level of any office. We then hope to include upper management and executive customers. So, simple design for early users. But, with a conservative bent to attract executive buy-in later.
