Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We are a small consulting firm specializing in IT solutions for the financial industry (banks, exchanges, securities firms, etc.). We need a new logo and business cards. The current look & feel can be seen at http://www.karabiner-software.com. The main item in the logo should be a karabiner (carabiner) - the small apparatus rock climbers use to clip their safety ropes into to stop them when they fall. The carabiner could be an image or a graphic. The concept is a small but strong and essential piece of equipment that can connect things securely. As an IT firm, we connect systems and make sure our clients are safe against system and regulatory problems. Our clients are very conservative financial institutions. Design should be clean and simple. Despite the conservative industry, I would like to stick with the orange/yellow colors we have started with if possible - but am open to suggestions.

Business cards should be similarly simple. We will have English on one side and Japanese on the other, so the design should be for only one side. No need to design the Japanese side - we will do the translation of the English design

• but willing to accept more standard, conservative corporate blues
• does not have to have "Financial IT Solutions" text, but would prefer it if it fits in the design
