Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

League 1868 is a collegiate apparel company. The founders are proud Hampton University graduates who would like the company logo to represent HU's history and culture.

We are looking for a logo. There are 3 different request below.

We have two concepts in mind. We have attached (very) rough illustrations of the concepts.
File 3 (oak tree sketch illustration) is our scaled down interpretation of the Emancipation Oak that sits on HU's campus. We would like to see the oak illustrated in black and white.

File 1 (League 1868 oak), shows a rough drawing of one idea that we have for the logo. One version should show all of the writing and the oak in black and another version should show the oak and the writing in blue.
Version 1. At the root of the tree would like League 1868 in black varsity letters with white trim. Also, a black oak
Please create a second illustration with all writing and the oak in blue. The blue should be the same shade of blue used by the university. Go to www.hamptonu.edu for the color reference. Also, please disregard the border created in our attached rough etching. The logo should not be within a visible border or frame.

File 2 (League 1868 sailboat) shows the nextconcept. It is a sailboat with League 1868 in varsity letters on the bow/side of the boat and 1868 on the mast of the sailboat. The 18 should sit above the 68 on the sail. The blue scribble around the boat is meant to be a solid background. The final illustration should not show a scribble. Two different color illustrations. One in black and white and one in blue and white.

The black and white version--The sailboat should be in white with all writing in black. League 1868 in varsity letters with white trim on the bow and varsity letters with white trim for the numbers on the sail. The trim of the sailboat and the background should be in black. Then a second illustration using blue and white

The third and final option is completely open. If you have a separate inspiration, please feel free to come up with a totally different logo to be considered.

We aren't looking to have all in one logo. Only 1.
