Thank you for the designs submitted so far. The two designs submitted at this stage are both very good and we will be discussing with the shop manager and give feedback at the weekend most likely.

Hello,

I'm currently working on a submission for this project but have a question regarding using twitter and facebook. How do you indent on using these...

merely to boost your online presence or do you intent to use them to post products updates, special offers and to push loyality programmes? The reason I ask is if you using them a lot then the space allocated to them (and their widgets) should and probably will have to be more prevalent.

Also, in my opinion, you should be aiming to have dutch and english translations of the site. It would help your SEO rankings, widen your target market and because of it, boost your online sales :)

Regards
David Murphy

Sorry for the delay in replying.

We would probably be linking Facebook to Twitter and actually develop a news + blog to twitter feed if you get my drift. So the tweets would only really be subject lines + links back to the site for new newsarticles (from news + competition news and the blog). I guess we could also use it to inform about new articles inserted on the site and any new "catches of sizes" images. Thus most of it would be automated feeds from the site.

The translation is a good idea but I can foresee problems where the admin staff would have to add articles in both languages. I''m not sure that is going to happen.
Hope this helps.
