Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Hey guys, I need a logo for my uniforms and signage on my truck. I am 23 years old and live in a small coastal town for now and I want my logo to reflect that - so when I move around, I will still have that friendly, beach, small town branding. I'd like my logo to be a bit retro too, ill attach some examples of what I like the look of. And in terms of 'beach', no surfboards etc - I am a builder after all and work on houses, renovations and odd jobs - so nothing obviously construction (like a house), but more a long those subtle lines than surfboards :)

My target audience is home owners, people who know me around town, other builders etc.

I'm not sure if I want just the letters of the business or all of the words... maybe all of the words in an emblem type of logo - I'm totally up to seeing whatever your design minds think will work best :)

If you have any questions before getting started, please just get in touch - I really want this to be great, so Ill be at my computer until the contest is complete I think.

Also, nothing too out there or playful... there are a lot of serious builders around, so I do need something that fits in with other branding so I can be taken seriously, but also I don't want anything boring - something that says what I do but also really spells out who I am and can become recognisable after a while. That's why I thought adding a beach/retro touch might be a good idea.

People who are driving behind me and can see the signage on my truck... so something that looks good and easily recognisable. Also other builders will hire me to sub contract, so I want them to take me seriously :)

• Go for it guys... there are no must haves, this isn't my domain - I just build houses.

Schön zu haben

• Hmm.. It would be nice to represent construction and building in a subtle way, rather than those obvious logos with houses on them. I like the idea of an emblem that can be printed on shirts and hats - just as long as its not too crowded and things can be seen and read.

Sollte nicht haben

• Oh, I said this above. No obvious construction logos. I'm young, I like surf brands and retro logos - something that fits in with me, rather than the usual style.
