Hi there. Is it okay to update your logo a little?

Hello. I don't want to update my logo but I would like it on the post card. The lettering E&M and the lettering PROPERTIES should be in gold. The design of the those buildings around that lettering and the lines going across is all in a light gray. That phrase regarding them opening my door I want in. I want something simple like maybe a door with a key in it something nice not, some cheap looking door maybe a sidelight window the door should be opening but not all the way. I want some colors that will blend well with the colors of the logo for the rest of post card. I want to create a design that clients will remember its my company. So they need to see that same set up each time other than minor changes I will want each month regarding maybe a holiday or time of season which should only be considered a brief change allowing that cost to be in the $29 part of the contract.
