Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

******Further update. I am opening up logo design to anything that conveys a female writing for the web. I have scrapped my superhero idea for now as a marketing friend suggests it might alienate some of my target market and not the best idea to put a ficticious character between the writer and the client in terms of what I can do for their business.

Most important inclusions:

- clean, elegant logo with a feminine [writer] twist
- a globe and pen is good
- no caligraphy pen or paper thanks as I'm not a novelist or poet - I write web content/articles only
- colourwise, I like combinations of chocolate, duck egg blue and white or cherry red, black and white. I also like navy blue, raspberry and third colour. Black and white always safe.

*****Update Dear designers, , I am a genuine customer looking for a nice business logo. If you don't have the illustration talent to come up with a superhero logo, no worries. At the very least I'm hopeful someone can come up with a text-only cool circular logo (the 'superhero touch' would be great).

Hi, Im Paula - I'm a web content writer setting up a business called Webgirl Writes. My website is going to be clean,modern, minimalist WordPress site (white background) so I would like a logo to compliment that.

Colours - Black, white and cherry red (although also open to grey, indigo blue and others that fit - probably no more than 3 colours). I would also happily consider a silhouette.

Spelling - uppercase WEBGIRL WRITES or titlecase Webgirl Writes, no lower case thanks unless you think its gonna look particularly awesome.

Logo design - I've always liked the classic circle logo with a twist but open to other ideas. I'm thinking either a very simple logo that has a clever, discrete superhero touch or one that goes all out and includes 'Webgirl' - my alter-ego. Webgirl is a lesser-known superhero with shoulder length dark brown hair. She wears a superhero outfit inc. cape, mask and cool boots. No big boobs thanks and image doesn't have to include her whole body.Could be a sketch or also a silhouette. I'd imagine a pen in one hand, the 'web' in the other (she could be spinning a globe with www scrolled across it), or she could be flying across the web with a pen in her hand. I don't want a tagline in the logo but, just so you know, her mission is to provide compelling website content for the good people of earth.
