We also like to get some more info from you, you have described your site concept and purpose well, but its not much helpful for designers. Can you describe following:

1- Your choice of colors/branding? if any.

2- What you want to see as logo?

3- What you want to see on the home page? just mention in words what you have in mind. For example mention that you want to see a big header, a search business option, events list, featured business on home page. a featured entrepreneur area, etc.... Just mention things like what you want to see on your home, this will help designers meeting your expectations.

4- What will be your top menu links? this usually helps, so better if provided.

5- What are the pages you require to be designed, after home? if any.

6- If possible mention some sites you like, either for content or if you like its design, mention clearly?

Note: we are off during weekend, likely to submit our designs by Tue/Wed, as we get some details from you.

Thank you for your interest and effort.
The whole concept is still brand new- my hope is for a "newsletter-type" format for a busy business owner
The front needs to be a little like. "Www.newser.com" a series of graphic/photo panels that the reader could click and get to more detail and info.
I dont have colors or logo - Yet
Menu links would be something like:
- "state economic departments"
- tax comparisons
-company movements
Other pages, for now, i'd just plug in a basic format, "about, contact, services"
