Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for the new Illinois Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. This is a state- and utility-funded effort that aims to empower homeowners to invest in home energy upgrades such as insulation, air leakage sealing, duct repair - all kinds of things that are very important for comfort, health, safety, durability, home value, and energy savings, but are not inherently sexy or appealing to homeowners. The first step is to have a home energy assessment (really, a diagnosis) and then utilize utility rebates as well as some of their own money to fix up the home.

Through the program, we want to communicate the importance of upgrading, "tuning up", improving the home. The program will help homeowners determine how their homes are "performing" and they can be improved. Improved comfort due to eliminating drafts and fixing cold or hot rooms is one of the key selling points, as well as saving money on utility bills.

Our current website (which is currently awful and we will be updating next month) is IllinoisHomePerformance.org. We are looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!
