Well, not sure about the flag, because most of our target audience will not be familiar with the significance of that. From the standpoint of our target audience it will just feel a little Latin (actually with the name Yana (you can google it) it might end up with a little more ancient Eastern (think Tibetin monk) feel than Latin) . The pieces that are probably most important are surf attitude and culture, buddhism & zen, the ocean/waves, and natural beauty. The brand should look sage and long established while still being "surfing cool".

this is just a logo contest... you should not include the requirements for identity kit . the budget is too small for that .

Do you want any specific colour scheme?
I saw your website. I think the type of logo you are asking for :- Both Hip and Cultured can be presented in the previous colour scheme as your site possess now beautifully.
The brown colour which gives a little spiritual touch as well as goes seamlessly with the grunge hips.

If any preferred colour scheme, please specify.
