Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo for a lacrosse apparel company I am starting. It will be called Tropical Lacrosse. Note it will be referred to as Tropical LAX (LAX is the common way to refer to lacrosse). The website will be tropicallax.com. We will be making t-shirts and lacrosse shorts. I think our tag line/slogan will be "play cool". The over all style will be retro/southern California style. Think lacrosse shorts that look like surf trunks. Clothing brands we are influenced by include RVCA, Volcom, Captain Fin Co., and Adrenaline Lacrosse. I like the idea of just a single retro style letter T for the logo and/or a retro cursive style writing of the word Tropical. See the Philadelphia Phillies "P" logo in the attached file for an idea of the font I like. Also the retro San Diego Padres baseball team type font and colors are interesting (brown, yellow, etc) Possibly incorporating the T into a palm tree would work too. I'm open to other creative ideas too - that's why I am here. The attached file contains images of shorts and shirt styles we would be basing some designs from so you can get an idea for our style. The logo will be used on our website and embroidered or tagged onto our shorts. Thanks
