Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Kiwi Kidsites is a smartphone App to help parents across New Zealand find a baby change table or kid friendly cafe.
I have a logo which is ok becuase it is simple and stands out, but it's a bit naff. I need something new and fresh and modern with a kiwi twist (I'm not talking about the fruit or the bird).
NZ is a big focus, it is also a location based App - which is why I went with the NZ country outline to begin with but I am interested in seeing other ideas so I can start getting serious about promoting it.

• Must say Kiwi Kidsites, and have a NZ/Kiwi feel. I want people to see the logo and instantly know it is NZ based, while still being modern.
  I need various sizes of the logo image file.
