Magazin-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Our company (The Beauty School) will be joining the leading names in the beauty industry at one of the biggest trade shows of the year (Irish Beauty Show). We will be exhibiting all of the brands, training courses & treatments we offer to trade show visitors.

We need an advert (double-page spread - 'DPS') designed for the official beauty trade magazine (Irish Beauty), which is published a few weeks before the show.

Design brief;

Perhaps all on a black/dark back-ground (use of an image is up to you)

- 'The Beauty School' logo as the main feature of the advert (logo is available in black and white versions attached).

Main text: 'Renowned for our innovation and dedication to the beauty industry, we offer an extensive range of courses, retail products and award winning brands throughout Ireland and the UK.'

'Train with us.'

'Boost your knowledge, skills, earning potential and client base.'


- We have 11 different brands. We want to include all 11 brand logos (all attached) in the advert. (HD Brows, Make Up by HD Brows, Nouveau Lashes, LVL Lashes, Let's Go Lashes, Minimi, Gelish, Contour D'Or, Shrinking Violet, Way to Glow, and Collagen Wave)

- Use the 'Irish Beauty Show' flash (uploaded), and the following text 'Visit us at Stand E12'.

- Include our contact details with the following text;

Artwork dimensions;

Double page spread 328 mm x 232 mm
Allow 10mm from trim
No text or important page elements should appear within 4-5mm either side of the gutter of the DPS.
If text or important page elements do run through the gutter of a DPS the middle of the DPS should show a duplication of 6mm per page.
This duplication must be contained within the final format.
It is preferable to supply DPS adverts as two single page PDFs
