Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We're in need of a logo for a new UK-based company called Turbo Scores. We will be delivering soccer (football) information to fans in a graphical way including pre-match information and stats including predictions, in-game scores and a post match statistical info summary.

We are open to any colour combination in the design but our initial brainstorm was for a logo that is in the shape of a turbo (like an engine turbo) which also if you look at it can appear to be a similar shape to a whistle; The whistle being an object associated with referees/scores/matches. I have attached an example for this basis.

We'd like a logo that is clean and strong. It needs to be able to stand alone as an image that can be used as an app icon on a mobile device too.
