Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Kizuna is the name.

Kizuna is a Japanese word that describes:
“bonds (between people); (emotional) ties; relationship; connection; link”
“the kind of unbreakable relationship you might have with family, a soul mate, and closest friends”

During our childhoods, in our homes and our respective Asian cultures, food transcended its functional purpose of sustenance. The Meal and its ancillary activities provided a daily regimen of building relationships between people – families, friends, colleagues, neighbors. We found food and drink a potent motivator for people to gather and socialize. This network of bonds between us all is the concept of Kizuna.

Our focus is to be that place that offers a warm hospitable place with delicious, healthy, high-quality food at a family-friendly price. We hope to groom customers that will visit us more than once a week. Hamburger-Italian-Sushi-Sandwich-Pizza-Ramen-Chicken...repeat.

There is a kanji (Chinese character) that represents Kizuna. Googling images of Kizuna will bring that up. So, the logo may have up to 3 components:
1. a symbol (Apple, Golden Arches, Scion, eg.)
2. a version of the kanji (Chinese character)
3. a treatment of the word 'Kizuna' itself through typography

The material palette for the restaurant is the reclaimed and live edge wood look with industrial metal accents. The color palette follows those materials and features mainly black, white, and varying shades of gray, but with strong accents of fire engine red (favorite color of the owner).
