We need a new logo for our company;
Sustainable Forest Products (SFP)

SFP is an international timber company. We salvage (extract) tropical hardwoods from concessions throughout South America, then we manufacture beautiful products, (decking, pre-engineered structural systems for residential / commercial development) for distribution in the US.

Sustainable Forest Products is a unique timber operation for many reasons;

• The origin of our timbers ("re-source"): we do not cut down live trees, we salvage our timbers from hydro damn back flooded forests, sunken logs from rivers, and hurricane blow downs

• Our commitment to the environment and sustainability. Our logging operation leaves a net positive impact on the environment. Every tree that is salvaged foregoes the necessity to cut down a living tree

• We push innovation in engineering cutting-edge under water logging techniques and in engineering & manufacturing the highest value and application for these scarce materials

We also work with what are called NTFPs (Non-Timber Forest Products). For example, we work with a team of scientists and plant biologists in Amazonia to develop a line of nutraceuticals derived from medicinal plants.

The final logo should communicate these qualities; sustainable, environmental, innovative, high tech

The logo will have clean lines and sharp edges. Something that says, "we are ushering in the future of the timber industry and how to responsibly manage and care for the forests!"
