The Warburton Valley is a picturesque region just over an hour east of Melbourne. Rich in history and home for boutique wineries, fruit orchards, berry farms and organic produce. Combined with unique accommodation, variety of wellness treatments, stunning mountain scenery, great outdoor activities and a thriving arts community, the Warburton Valley is a wonderful destination for a relaxing getaway. Its laid-back lifestyle and warm country hospitality offer a welcome break to anyone who wants escape the pressures of their everyday life.
I need a logo for a new travel company that offers travel packages in the Warburton Valley for people who are interested in travelling 'slowly'. We will offer accommodation, activities including hiking, cycling and creative workshops (fabric printing, mosaic work, photography) combined with wellbeing treatments and mindfulness workshops. Tours visiting gardens and vineyards and local food producers will be available, too.
Slow travel is an offshoot of the slow food movement, which began in Italy in the 1980's as a protest against the opening of a McDonald's in Rome. The slow food movement aims to preserve regional cuisine, local farming, communal meals and traditional food preparation methods. This cultural initiative has since burgeoned into a whole way of life known as the Slow Movement, which emphasizes connection - connection to food, connection to families and, in the case of travel, connection to local peoples and cultures.
Slow travel is not so much a particular mode of transportation as it is a mindset. Rather than attempting to squeeze as many sights or cities as possible into each trip, the slow traveller takes the time to explore each destination thoroughly and to experience the local culture.
Warburton Valley is surrounded by majestic mountains covered in tall Mountain Ash forests. The Yarra River meanders through the valley that is home for vineyards, fruit orchards and paddocks with horses and cows.
I need a logo with and without the text, please. Our new logo should embody the tranquility and the beauty of our valley. I would like to see mountains in the logo and the river but also the wine/food aspect incorporated. We have some amazing cycling trails as well and if possible, that should be in the logo (somehow). I like simple, minimalistic logos with quite fine lines (nothing heavy). I would like to see the logo in monochrome (grey scale) but am interested also seeing colourful options (green being an important colour). No sharp lines/forms - rounded gentle form. I have attached some images of logos that I quite like. Most of them have bicycles... but bicycle is not the prominent factor in my logo. I hope I am not too confusing : )
