Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

'Phenix Aero Design' is an aircraft manufacturer that produces a gyroplane (gyrocopter or autogyro) called the Phenix.

PAD is headquartered in Spain, with representatives in the USA, Germany and South Africa. We are actively pursuing production of our aircraft and more international dealerships.

The Phenix is a a modern take on the classic autogyro design by Juan de la Cierva and has several unique features.

All models will share the same basic features; a fully composite carbon fiber fuselage, tractor configuration on the engine (in the nose), solid aluminum extruded rotor blades, ballistic recovery parachute in the tail, full glass MGL Avionics equipment, large spacious and comfortable interiors, excellent visibility, cargo room behind bulkhead and great performance and fuel economy with turbo charged fuel injected engines.

The tractor configuration of the engine, plus placing the thrust line in-line with the Center-of-Gravity, eliminates the tail-wagging, bunt-over and power-pushover tendencies some pusher engined gyroplanes have.

For each of the three models we will have varying levels of interior and equipment appointments.

The Phenix Lite is our entry level model; smallest engine (currently 130hp), no wheel spats, painted interior, basic instrumentation, one radio.

The Xtra is our mid-spec performance model, with a planned 150hp engine, wheel spats and otherwise similar to the Lite.

The Luxe is our top-of-the-line model; strongest engine (currently 190 - 200hp), full carpet lined cabin, more plush seats, more capable avionics with options such as EVS, auto-pilot, two radios etc.

Apart from the three models in the civilian line up we are planning to offer specialized Law Enforcement versions. These can be fitted with a wide array of surveillance and recording equipment.

We have an immediate need for a new company logo. In a few weeks we are finalizing important business relationships and would like to make a fresh start with a new corporate image.

What we need in the logo is as follows:
- An easily recognizable, simple geometric design
- Create a feeling of movement,
- freedom
- circular motion of rotor blades or flapping wings
- idea of rebirth for the Phenix
- preferred color palette: black, orange with silver and white trim
- should easily translate to single color embroidery on shirts and baseball caps etc
- design should lend itself to printing on clothing for retail purposes
- design should easily transfer to business cards or product brochures
