Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

I need a logo that I can use for different locations with the same theme, but not exactly the same. the name is [location] FlyBoard. It want it to be fun, yet "extreme" sports feel, not cheesy. FlyBoard has it's own logo with a guy flying out of the back, buy I don't want to use the FlyBoard® logo for all of the locations. I want it to look modern, with a touch of old school.

I would like a sun involved into the logo somehow, and the guy flying in front of the sun. Not a cheesy sun, a unique, abstract sun - and guy. Maybe the colors can be changed with locations? That would be good.
