Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung
We require a logo for a school for young people which teaches acting for the screen (not stage), filmmaking, animation and gaming.
The logo needs to capture key elements of 'film' and 'youth'.
The business has a number of 'sections' so we'd like the one main logo "Filmbites Studio", and the same graphic used again in a different colour with the wording "Filmbites Casting", and another colour with the wording "Filmbites Youth Film School" and another colour with the wording "Filmbites Production"
The logo will be used for letterheads, website, movie end tag, other marketing materials like posters and brochures, and building signage.
We don't want it to be too busy, but would like something that looks modern and youthful.
We want to avoid anything that looks like clipart, and prefer to steer clear from a film 'reel' as we are pretty much all digital now.
We are partial to things that have a unique drawn element.
NB: Filmbites name was drawn for Sound bite.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for coming onboard. Just to add something to what our production coordinator wrote and clarify we are looking for vibrant, fun and modern. When we say modern we do tend to be drawn to things that have a hand drawn feel as we work so much with creative types (including animators) but we are open to looking at other things. We also have to be aware with film institutes/houses there are a lot of companies using similiar things so we also want a unique feel that will set us apart.
Hope this helps and thanks so much for all the designs so far myself and the team will be meeting to go over them.
Also it was written incorrectly in the brief that Filmbites Youth film School was the main umbrella when in fact it will be Filmbites Studio. But we can easily apply this to your designs already. Thanks.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Thanks to everyone for your submissions so far. We are extending our deadline to give designers who we have provided feedback a bit more time. We also have a major screening this Sunday so will have more time to consider designs next week with our team.
Just to clarify when we say young and modern, we are looking for something that will capture the imagination of a teenager (youth). If they were walking down a road and saw it, it would make them look up and want to find out more.

Reason: Due to a couple of unforseen circumstances my team are not able to meet until next Tuesday so we are extending the deadline to give those we have just got feedback to a few more days and then allow us to make a decision at our monthly meeting.
