Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo design for a new business based in Australia.

The business is called: Career Athlete

Type of logo: Abstract logo with text (preferred at this stage) - but would also be open to seeing some pictorial/combination logos and wordmark logos.

Must look good in colour and greyscale and transfer well from web to print etc.

Colours: Must have Orange (definitely) and any combinations of black, white, grey or charcoal (please refer to attached file 'design crowd orange' - please match orange colour to 'button text' orange).

Minimum file types required: EPS vector file, large JPEG file, small JPEG file, and original source file.

What we do: We feel Privileged to support Elite Athletes through their studies and to assist in providing the right balance to enable the achievement of sporting goals. We understand that that balance is different for every athlete and at every training/competition phase. We also understand that for most, they are athletes first and students second.

Why we do it: Research has shown that off field factors can and do impact on athletic performance. Athlete career life span is short. Planning for another career actually decreases anxiety around transition because it allows athletes to focus more fully on their sport. Performance of athletes at any stage during their career can be affected by concerns about what they would do when they retire from elite sport.

How we do it: Through the career counselling process, we assist athletes to clarify their career goals/direction and to make informed career decisions. We provide Career Athletes with resources and strategies that assist in clarifying career goals/direction and to make informed career decisions. We assist athletes to develop action plans (behaviours) that enable them to take responsibility for their careers and clarify their goals/direction.

Experience:We have had the privilege of working with the following categories of Career Athletes in assisting them to achieve both their sporting and professional goals:
Olympic medalists (including gold medalists)
World, Australian and state champions (senior and junior)
Australian and state representatives
Australian and state sporting associations
Professional Sporting clubs
Professional athletes from a broad range of sports

What drives us: Watching a Career Athlete achieve their goal... seeing the satisfaction on their face, hearing that joy in their voice, receiving that phone call or that email that lets us know that they achieved their goal - whether in their sporting or professional careers - that gives us a huge buzz... knowing we have contributed in whatever small way to that person achieving their goal. When we receive feedback like that... it might even be someone thanking us for taking the time to talk with them... we know that our work is meaningful and that it is valued - that's what drives us and that's what provides us with a huge sense of career and job satisfaction. We know how privileged we are to be in a position to contribute to people's success in this way and we are very grateful that we now have a clear understanding of what drives us and how we derive meaning from our lives. But like all career journeys it hasn't been easy... it's taken a lot of hard work and many hours of reflection to get here, but we're very grateful that we have."
