Logo for The Urban Swarm - an Urban Apiary

we need a logo design for a new urban apiary! We're a women-owed company providing locally sourced honey to urban dwellers here in Seattle. We would like to see a logo that has yellows, whites, and soft grays (see attached logos for colors we like, but the designs aren't particularly special to us. If possibly, integrating the Seattle skyline into the strips of a bee or some such approach. We will only ever serve the Seattle market...


We would like our logo to communicate our values, so here's a little bit about why we started this company:

Andrea wants to have fun, be creative and entrepreneurial, learn about bees, participate in a the local food scene in a meaningful way, make the world a better place, and live more gently on Earth.

Valerie wants to understand the complex system in which a hive exists, communicate the global threat to bees and the public health ramifications, feel ineffably connected to her peanut butter and honey sandwiches, and practice what she preaches.
