Hier ist was Kurtosys Fund suchte für sein logo design.
We are a starting a hedge fund which will make investments based on mathematical / statistical analysis of markets. We believe that the current pricing models used in the market to price financial instruments have some inherent flaws and we are hopeful of making good returns for our investors by exploiting these flaws (a process called arbitrage or statistical arbitrage) ... google it !!
the fund is going to be called kurtosys ... we have registered the domain name www.kurtosysfund.com but the website is not going to be up for sometime.
the word 'kurtosys' is a play on kurtosis - a statistical term measuring the 'peakedness' of a bell curve ... and the 'sys' at the end implies we use systems / computers
At this point we just need a logo design, but as the idea catches steam we would need a complete corporate identity
The final design should look COOL and ideally seem to have something to do with statistics and/or mathematics and/or investment ...
