Logo Design for HVAC Company

I own a HVAC company. We mainly do residential construction but I would like to move in to commercial with time. I am very knowledgable in renewable energys and would like to market in that direction along with my standard mechanical applications. I am looking for a design or image that reaches out more in a commercial larger company look even though I am not yet. I am looking for a clean crisp 2012 look that is not circusy or flames and snow flakes representing heating or cooling. On my business cards I show a earth wrapped in vines and it is all green. The name of the company is Armstrong Mechanical Services Inc. I know it is long and would be willing to change the format of the name or abbreviate, Like, AMS or Armstrong Mechanical Inc. .......
