Golf Driving Range Needs New Logo for New Bar

We are a golf driving range in Northeast Ohio that is opening a bar at our location and needs a logo to go with it. We provide high quality ("country club" quality) practice facilities to the general public. Our primary business is golf and this new bar will support that.
This new logo should be fun, simple, conservative, and classy. We want this logo to reflect an upscale establishment. Our primary colors are green and burgundy and we would like this new logo to be mainly burgundy, even it is only the typeface.
The bar will be named after our dog Putter to be "Putter's Bar & Grille" at The Golf Improvement Center (only Putter's Bar & Grille should be in the logo). Included are photos of Putter and one of our current logo. The new logo need not look anything like our original, just given as suggestion.
