We need a logo design for the Santa Monica Daily Press, the Daily newspaper and news website for our hip, urban, beach, tech-centric city that is on the westside of Los Angeles.

When you see images of Santa Monica, you typically see the Santa Monica pier, Third Street Promenade, or images of our beach culture, surfing, skateboarding (was invented here), muscle beach.

I'm looking for some thing clean, classic that speaks to the traditional role of a newspaper, but is updated and represents our town.

Our model is not a subscription model, it's a free paper...which is the only print model that is working right now!
