'Nooran' is an Arabic term, which means two lights. Both founders of the company chose this name in order to maintain an Arab linkage between their work and audiences. At the same time, the duality reflected in the name (two lights), is intended to evoke the partnership of its founders, their complementary specialization's and the integral role of light in the picture and film processes.
