Logo Design Project for The Migrant Scholar

The Migrant Scholar is an upcoming website that is aimed at students who seek to pursue higher education in the Western World, and particularly in the United States.

I seek a logo that will go on the banner of the website.

The logo that I envision will have a 4:1 ratio or 3:1 ratio (length:height)

The first 25% (for 4:1 or 33% for 3:1) of the logo (on the left) would need to have the site logo. It is important that this part of the logo is a perfect square. I would envision something that has rounded edges, and is crisp and elegant. I would like to be able to use this part of the logo as an icon (favicon) for the website, as an avatar, and as a Facebook and Twitter avatar.

The remaining 75% (for 4:1, or 67% for 3:1) of the logo (on the right) would have the words "The Migrant Scholar" written up in a stylised manner befitting the logo design. A variant may also include the tag line "Helping Smart Young People Go Places" - but this is dependant on ho… Mehr lesen
