Logo for Aerospace Company

We need a logo for a new company called Shedd Capital. Shedd is the last name of the founder. The company is in the aerospace sector and helps with corporate development bringing in target companies to acquire/buy. The logo could say the full name of the company or it could be just the initials or both. In terms of imagery, we'd like to evoke ideas of aerospace or space or defense. Also, the feelings should be "consultative, substantive, state of the art" and not "transactional, used-car salesman". It should have some weight but not so staid like a large institutional bank.
