Crepe Person Logo Mascot Design

I have a waffle man mascot. in the same style I'd like a crepe person. However I do not want the crepe person to have exactly the same body parts as the waffle man so I don't want a copy and paste. I just want them to compliment each other. The style I'm going for is Tin Tin comic book by Hergé, however I don't want the comic to be copied exactly becasue then it's copyright infringement. I would like it done in Photoshop. Crepe should be triangle shaped either in a holder or not. I'm not sure what is going to look better. Pictures of this are attached.
